Once upon a time I went to East Africa to look for giraffes (amongst other things) and decided to write about it. Now I am in Michigan hoping that one of these days I will be driving along and pass a giraffe strolling alongside of the road.

The kids and I saw a giraffe this morning at the zoo.....it's just not the same. It's kind of sad, in fact.
